ANNOUNCING... AMERICA SINGS! 2009: Celebrating Twenty Years of Song and Service On April 17-18, 2009, America Sings! will mark twenty years of producing non-competitive choral music festivals and special events with a special, two-day celebration. The festival will take place on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. with special events planned at area locations in advance of the festival. Choirs and their directors who have participated in past America Sings! events will enjoy the Reunion activities. Choirs new to America Sings! will love the fun, inspiration, and variety of activities at this spectacular event---all choirs of all ages are welcome! America Sings! inspires young people involved in the arts to use their time and talents to help others. Established in 1988, America Sings! creates opportunities for artists to combine music, charitable giving and community service.
